Field Chemist - Asheboro, NC

Field Chemist is responsible for directing chemical and physical testing activities, ensuring safety processes, and complying with regulations. They will assist in characterizing materials, collecting and packaging waste, and educating clients. The ideal candidate has a 4-year college degree, 2+ years of lab packing and environmental waste experience, and a Class B CDL with HazMat endorsement.

Requirements

• Four year college degree (Science or Environmental majors preferred)
• 2+ years of lab packing and environmental waste experience
• Class B CDL with HazMat endorsement
• Certifications: Hazardous Materials Handling Certification for DOT 49 CRF Transportation Regulations
• Competent computer skills, including MS Office
• Ability to lift 50lbs or more
• Highly motivated with strong problem solving and interpersonal skills
