Job Description
Covenant Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join their team. The LPN will be responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery of care to residents, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and upholding the organization's mission and values.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved Practical Nurse Program
- Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA)
- Current CPR / First Aid Certification / Equivalency
- Ability to speak French an asset
- Dementia education an asset
- Strong critical assessment skills
- Exhibits open and sincere approach to relating to people
- Recognizes and responds effectively to verbal and non-verbal cues
- Ability to work in a continuing care setting
- Ability to cope with frequent changes
