The Metadata Manager plays a critical role in enforcing Data Governance policies that oversee the business information life cycle, supporting value creation, cost efficiency, service quality, and risk management goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field, plus a minimum of 5 years of progressive data governance and/or data management experience
- Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) Preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proficiency in metadata management technologies, including metadata management software and databases
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to derive patterns and insights from large, complex data sets
- Proficient in SQL; familiarity with data cataloging and lineage tools is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and assertively in a collaborative environment
