Quality Coordinator

Covia is looking for a dynamic Quality Coordinator who will have a positive impact on the Operations team at its Thompson, OH location. The Quality Coordinator will manage the Thompson's plant laboratory and oversee sampling and analytic activities.

Requirements

• 5+ years quality supervisor experience, mining/foundry preferred
• Bachelor's degree engineering, physical science or related field
• Working knowledge Microsoft Office, IFS, HMI systems, Internet and ISO 9000 documentation
• Certified Quality Auditor and/or Manager of Organizational Excellence preferred
• Basic understanding of mathematics, statistical analysis and particle size distributions
• Knowledge of the SOPs, GLPs, quality standards and equipment used within the foundry industry
• Knowledge of MSHA, Federal, and State laws and regulations
