Director, Insurance Accounting & Reporting

The company is looking for a Director of Insurance Accounting & Reporting to lead the financial reporting process and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP and statutory requirements.

Requirements

• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Oversight of the monthly and quarterly close and entity consolidations
• Maintenance and strengthening of internal control frameworks and accounting policies
• Leadership of statutory accounting and reporting
• Overseeing of insurance accounting across premium, loss and LAE reserves, reinsurance, and related balance sheet accounts
• Directing accounting and reporting for ceded and assumed reinsurance and fronting arrangements
• Experience building scalable accounting processes and reporting infrastructure
• Driving automation and system enhancements across ERP and insurance accounting workflows
