Job Description
Cox Automotive is hiring a Mobile Diesel Mechanic II to perform licensed DOT inspections, Preventative Maintenance inspections, and light and follow-up repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles. The role involves working in a mobile/field environment, requiring a high level of independence and productivity. The successful candidate will have 3 years of experience in a related field, a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to pass a DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- 3 years of experience in a related field
- Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties
- Obtain Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification T8 (PMI) within eighteen (18) months
- DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical
- Valid state-of-residence driver’s license
