Job Description
Cox Automotive is hiring a Mobile Diesel Mechanic II to join their team. This role requires performing certified DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, light and advanced repairs, and other duties as assigned. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing parts inventory, maintaining and operating company-issued service vehicles, and working with customers to assess their needs. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 5 years of experience in a related field, or any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and 3 years' experience; or 7 years' experience in a related field.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- 5 years' experience in a related field
- Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties
- Obtain Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification T8 (PMI) within eighteen (18) months
- Obtain 608/609 certification within eighteen (18) months
