Job Description
Assistant Financial Accountant position available in Gladstone, Mackay, or Rockhampton. Join CQUniversity's Finance Directorate in a pivotal role supporting financial reporting and compliance.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in financial accounting, including preparation of financial statements, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
- Knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards, taxation legislation, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Proven experience managing Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) and Goods and Services Tax (GST) obligations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights.
