Job Description
The Project Manager – Mechanical/Millwright oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical and millwright projects from pre-construction through completion.
Requirements
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of assigned mechanical and millwright projects from start to finish.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and work plans, ensuring alignment with client goals and company standards.
- Coordinate with engineering, estimating, and field teams to deliver safe, high-quality installations on time and within budget.
- Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors, verifying quality and timely delivery.
- Monitor project progress through regular site visits and meetings, resolving technical or logistical challenges as they arise.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and cost tracking.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with safety personnel to uphold company and OSHA standards on all project sites.
- Lead project closeout activities, including punch list completion, documentation, and turnover to the client.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery, field efficiency, and team performance.
