Job Description
The Account Coordinator will be responsible for dealing with clients, customs, and agents to ensure the quickest and best movement of cargo throughout the world. They will also prepare documents for export, import, and customs clearance processes, track and trace cargo, and communicate with customers regarding the disposition of freight.
Requirements
- Deals directly with clients, customs and agents
- Make sure orders are timely & accurately created / updated within the system(s)
- Prepares documents necessary to complete export, import and customs clearance process
- Track and trace cargo as necessary
- Proper and correct billing and cost information populated in TMF
- Communicate with customers regarding disposition of Freight
- Communicate & correspond with other Company branches and agents
- Seek the most profitable mode of shipment
- Ensure compliance in line with company and industry policies
