CNC Machinist

Our client is a privately held American manufacturer specializing in high-performance plastic hardware and precision components through in-house processes like CNC machining, injection molding, and mold building.

Requirements

• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce machined parts
• Plan machining processes by reviewing work orders, blueprints, and material stock
• Program lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points and offsets
• Calculate machining requirements using basic math, geometry, and trigonometry
• Troubleshoot machining processes by adjusting offsets and controls and replacing or sharpening worn tools
• Follow quality assurance procedures and address preventive maintenance needs
