The Production Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep, repair, troubleshooting, and overhaul of existing electromechanical equipment to ensure reliable production performance. They must also participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- High School or GED Degree required; Technical Associate’s Degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in the maintenance of electromechanical equipment, with emphasis in high volume manufacturing preferred or successful completion of the Crayola’s Technical Apprenticeship program – 1st tier
- Working knowledge in (3) or more of the following areas: systematic troubleshooting, low- to high-speed packaging, industrial robots, plumbing, metal fabrication, industrial electricity, industrial control systems, and equipment rigging
- Fluent in English language, both written and verbal
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems of a simple nature
