Job Description
The FLD Lead - 2nd Shift is responsible for leading the FLD team, delegating tasks, and updating the Warehouse Shift Supervisor on warehouse floor activities. The position requires demonstrated leadership qualities, willingness to learn, and basic arithmetic skills. The ideal candidate should have at least one year of Warehouse lead experience and forklift certifications.
Requirements
- Demonstrated leadership qualities
- Willingness to learn and accept heightened responsibilities
- Bilingual preferred
- At least one year of Warehouse lead experience
- Understanding of basic arithmetic
- Reading level to understand instructions, policies, and procedures
- GED preferred
- Forklift certifications (Toyota sit-downs and Raymond reach truck)
- Food Safety Responsibilities: Attend all food safety training sessions (GMP, SQF, HACCP, Allergen, Food Facility Security, Preventing Foodborne Illness)
- Participate in company GMP walks
- Enforce company rules regarding food safety and monitoring
