Assistant Director

Creative World School is seeking an Assistant Director to join their Leadership Team. The role involves administering and directing the center in the Director's absence, completing duties as assigned by the Director, and providing a safe, educational, and customer service-focused experience to families and children.

Requirements

• Maintain a safe and stimulating environment for young children.
• Ensure children are supervised at all times.
• Oversee record-keeping and complete duties as assigned by the Director.
• Maintain positive informal and formal communication with families.
• Model, mentor, and train staff in child-centered, developmentally appropriate practices.
• Supervise ordering and disbursement of classroom supplies and materials.
• Work cooperatively and effectively as a team member.
• Demonstrate behavior that is professional, ethical, and responsible.
• Maintain confidentiality of children, families, co-workers, and the school.
• Continue professional development by attending workshops and conferences.
