Senior Java/Kotlin Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Java/Kotlin Engineer to join our team at Creetion. As a senior engineer, you will design and build high-performance, cloud-native services using Java 21+ and/or Kotlin. You will work on complex, cloud-native solutions for leading organizations in the Netherlands and have an impact on architectural choices and project outcomes.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a software engineer
• Strong knowledge of Java (21+) and/or Kotlin
• Experience with Spring Boot, cloud-native development, and event-driven architecture
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and setting up CI/CD pipelines via GitOps
• Experience with Kafka or similar messaging technologies
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Fluent Dutch language skills
