Job Description
Crescent City Schools is seeking a full-time Adapted Physical Education Teacher for The Constellations Program. The position includes developing Individual Educational Programs, conducting daily classroom activities, and communicating with parents/guardians. The ideal candidate has a minimum of five years of teaching experience with students with disabilities, a BA or BS Degree, and Louisiana Teacher Certification.
Requirements
- Developing Individual Educational Programs for students with varying functioning levels
- Conducting daily classroom activities reflecting IEP goals and objectives
- Communicating with parents/guardians about student progress
- Facilitating extra-curricular physical education programs for students with exceptionalities
- Developing a physical education curriculum and program appropriate to the exceptional needs of students and the Louisiana content standards
