Forklift Operator (1st Shift)

The Forklift Operator is responsible for moving materials throughout the warehouse in a safe and efficient manner, providing logistics services to internal and external customers, and operating forklifts in a safe manner.

Requirements

• Safety: Read, understand, and follow safety procedures, maintain a valid and current OSHA certification, and ensure a clean and organized warehouse.
• People: Motivated member of the team, able to work and complete tasks individually, and work well in a high-paced environment.
• Productivity: Operate forklift efficiently, communicate with production to prioritize and pull inventory, and efficiently load and unload trailers.
• Quality: Load trucks according to customer requirements, report safety and quality issues, and maintain customer or inventory separation.
• Customer Value: Handle customer owned product with care, work efficiently to provide on-time delivery, and identify continuous improvement efforts.
• Financial: Provide ideas to improve productivity and sustainability, and remove sources of waste throughout the warehouse.
• Cultural Competencies: Do It Right, Do It Safe, and Do It Well, and adhere to safety and GMP requirements.
