Job Description
Manage and oversee the maintenance, repair, and installation of all electrical systems and equipment onboard the cruise ship. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the reliability and safety of all electrical systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the maritime industry
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment, including generators, switchboards, motors, and control systems
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards, such as SOLAS, IMO, and IEC
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work on board vessels for extended periods of time
