Job Description
Operate and maintain the incinerator in a safe and efficient manner, monitor and record its performance, and ensure proper disposal of waste materials.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as an Incinerator Operator or in a similar role
- Knowledge of international regulations and guidelines for waste incineration at sea
- Familiarity with different types of waste materials and their proper disposal methods
- Basic understanding of marine engineering and machinery
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions
- Valid certifications and licenses as required by international and local regulations
