Global Intelligence Intern

We are seeking a Global Intelligence Intern to join our Global Intelligence Department in Cape Town, South Africa. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in intelligence analysis and the Intelligence Cycle within a dynamic, global environment.

Requirements

• completed an undergraduate degree
• currently enrolled in, or planning to enrol in, an Honours or Master’s programme in Political Science, International Relations, or a related discipline
• strong interest or exposure to data, research, or analytical work
• experience in safety, security, risk management, or geopolitical/international affairs is advantageous
• excellent written and verbal communication skills
• strong ability to interpret and simplify complex information for different audiences
• high attention to detail and accuracy in written outputs
• ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a team environment
• proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook)
• strong research skills using open-source intelligence (web-based, academic, and institutional sources)
