Job Description
Maintains and controls patient accounts, reviews files for accuracy, and prepares and submits claims to carriers and intermediaries. Contacts patient account guarantors to secure contracts or collection of payments and assists with filing liens or other legal action to remedy unpaid accounts.
Requirements
- HS diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in patient accounts or related field
- Knowledge of insurance billing and medical terminology
