Critical Mass Group is seeking an Area Sales Manager to grow and manage sales of the Company's brands at current and new retailers in South San Diego, CA. The role requires building and maintaining relationships with accounts, providing excellent sales/customer service, and developing and maintaining relationships with local distributors and brand reps.
Requirements
- Learn and understand the unique attributes, pricing, promotions, and route to market for the Company's brands.
- Build and maintain relationships with accounts assigned to area by developing relationships with 'gatekeepers' and key stakeholders.
- Provide excellent sales/customer service to achieve account satisfaction with the Company's products.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local distributors and their reps, motivating them to grow the Company's brands within their networks.
- Use mobile electronic devices to accurately and timely compose and complete required forms and documents.
- Report back progress, successes and challenges to management in timely manner.
- Solicit and obtain orders for incremental sales of the Company's brands by meeting face-to-face with store decision makers.
- Survey assigned accounts to ensure that the Company's products and POS are presented in a way to maximize customer sales and influence purchasing decisions of account owner/managers.
- Interact with owners/managers about displays and signage (interior + exterior) including confirming that all are current and Use discussions about displays as an opportunity to increase sales.
- Conducting store audits with management to ensure merchandizing standards are adhered to and promotional programming is being executed.
