Lead User Experience Designer

Lead User Experience Designer for quick turnaround, shorter-term project engagements. Looking for a rare leader who thinks like a strategist and an artist, fluent in UX and design. Must have experience with AI and conversational interfaces, and be able to lead a team of UX and Product Designers.

Requirements

• Lead a multi-disciplinary team of UX and Product Designers
• Guide and mentor UX and product design team members
• Champion the user's perspective and ensure all UX and design deliverables demonstrate visual excellence and interaction elegance
• Act as an account lead and effectively visualize and verbalize design ideas to clients
• Facilitate design and brainstorming workshops with internal teams and clients
• Partner with media teams and platforms to design compelling interface experiences
• Lead the integration of AI design principles and tools into projects
• Develop and champion AI-influenced user experiences
• Oversee multiple high-visibility client projects
• Collaborate with leadership and creative leads to define, manage, and evolve the vision for the UX and Product Design discipline
• Lead recruiting and resourcing efforts and cultivate an effective team
• Coach direct reports to maximize their impact, professional development, and contribution to project and agency success
• Embody agency leadership values and promote culture in all interactions
• Represent the agency as an ambassador at industry conferences and meetings
