Business Analyst

The European Commission is looking for a Business Analyst to perform various tasks such as analysis of business requirements, documentation, and business process analysis. The position is located in Brussels and relocation is mandatory.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of information systems matters
• Good knowledge of large organisation administrative business processes
• Good knowledge of analysis/modelling tools and techniques
• Good knowledge of BPMN or UML or other with equivalent value
• Knowledge of software development methodologies
• Rapid self-starting capability
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong capacity to give high-level presentations
• Excellent critical thinker
• Knowledge in analysing customer segments
• Good knowledge of project management standards and methodogies
• Good knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture
• Experience in the use of Atlassian collaborative tools and Microsoft Office Tools
• Usage of project management tools: MS Project
• Very good knowledge of Oracle, SQL, Visio, RUP, JIRA
• Ability to give business and technical presentations
• Ability to apply high quality standards
• Very good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
• Analysis and problem-solving skills
• Capability to write clear and structured technical documents
• Ability to participate in technical meetings and good communication skills
