Senior Operations Accountant (Cronos Grow Co.)

We are looking for a Senior Operations Accountant to join our team at Cronos Grow Co. in Kingsville, Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in month-end accounting functions, managing greenhouse/warehouse accounting processes, and providing financial partnership with the Operations Manager & COO. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, 5 years of progressive finance/accounting experience, and US GAAP knowledge and experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or related field
• CPA designation (preferred)
• US GAAP knowledge and experience
• 5 years of progressive finance/accounting experience
• 2+ years as a plant controller or cost analyst
• Experience with inventory standard costing, absorption analysis and inventory valuation
• Capable of identifying and implementing cost saving initiatives
• Leadership and collaborative capabilities
• Proven analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and possess attention to details
