Job Description
End-of-life care should never feel transactional, and every person deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. We strive to make each moment count, providing comfort and meaning to patients and their loved ones.
Requirements
- Completed an Ohio State Department of Health Competency Test from an accredited program with a minimum requirement of 75 hours of certification
- Certified by the state as a nurses' aide with an unrestricted, active aide certification
- 1 year of current experience as a Hospice Aide or Nurses Aide is required
- Hospice or Home Health Agency experience preferred
- Interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients and their families, as well as all interdisciplinary caregivers, peers, subordinates, and supervisors
- Ability to learn computer skills related to required clinical software and electronic clinical record utilization
- Reliable vehicle/transportation, valid driver's license, required automobile insurance, and the ability to safely and independently operate said vehicle
