Job Description
Join the YMCA as a Cheer Coach and lead fun, safe, and educational cheer classes for children, teens, and adults. Responsibilities include teaching and choreographing classes, building relationships with participants and parents, and promoting the YMCA's mission and goals.
Requirements
- Minimum age 15 required
- 12 months experience in participating in cheer training
- Prior experience teaching gymnastics lessons preferred
- Certifications in CPR/AED & First Aid and New Leader Orientation within 30 days of hire
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to relate and communicate effectively to diverse groups of people
