Event Host I

We're looking for an enthusiastic Event Host to lead birthday parties at the Y! As the face of our celebrations, you'll create unforgettable experiences for our members.

Requirements

• Minimum age 16 required.
• Six months or more of related experience required.
• Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends.
• Certifications required within 30 days of hire: CPR/AED & First Aid, New Employee Orientation, and online trainings.
• Required trainings: Duty to Report, Keeping your YMCA Safe, and Daxko 100.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to relate and communicate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
• Must have a passion for working with young children.
• Must demonstrate initiative and sound judgment.
