Gymnastics Coach

We are looking for a Gymnastics Coach to join our team at the Griffith Family YMCA. The position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Gymnastics Instructor is responsible for working with children, teens and/or adults to promote the enjoyment of gymnastics and movement by providing high-quality instruction and guidance.

Requirements

• Minimum age 16 required
• Must have 12 months experience in participating in gymnastics training, with prior experience teaching gymnastics lessons preferred
• Certifications required within 30 days of hire: CPR/AED & First Aid and New Leader Orientation
• Must be available to work evenings and weekends
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to relate and communicate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
• Must have a passion for learning, working with youth/families, and the sport in general
