Front End Operator

Role Overview

The Front End Operator is a safety and quality-minded individual responsible for ensuring the safe operation of equipment and producing high-quality metal packaging solutions. The role requires a willingness for excellence and a commitment to following safe work procedures and safety rules. The operator will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, performing various tasks to ensure the production of high-quality cups.

What You Will Do

The Front End Operator will be responsible for checking safety equipment, inspecting cups for defects, installing coils, rotating mandrels, and performing other related duties. The operator will also be responsible for operating ironers and trimmers during daily production runs, adjusting trim heights, and checking cup elevators for damage or scrap cups.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• 2-4 years manufacturing/production experience
• Good oral and written communications skills
• Good record keeping skills
• Good listening skills
• Accurate measurement capability
• Ability to understand and speak basic English
