Executive Specialist, Claims - Remote or Hybrid/Any C&F Location

The Executive Specialist will handle pending claims for Directors and Officers and Financial Institutions, requiring technical evaluation and complex issue resolution. The position involves handling claims from inception to resolution, including coverage analysis, investigation, and claim disposition. The job requires superior customer service, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances. The position reports to a Manager in the Executive Risk Claims group and has a flexible workplace location with the ability to work remotely or in-person in various C&F offices nationwide.

Requirements

• Accountable for the full handling and control of all claim matters assigned from inception to resolution
• Timely coverage analysis and letter writing
• Investigation and incident response
• Evaluation and reserve adequacy
• Diary maintenance and management of defense and coverage counsel
• Reinsurance reporting and claim disposition
• Claim presentations to bring management up to speed and obtain authority
