Job Description
At CSA Group, we're looking for a Product Safety Certifier to provide high-quality certification services that meet clients' needs while ensuring safe products are available in the public marketplace. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, testing procedures, and CSA, UL, and IEC Standards.
Requirements
- Independently manages certification projects concurrently ensuring compliance with all applicable safety requirements
- Evaluates products against requirements of the national / international standards and precedent decisions
- Reviews test data and reports and authorizes application of the CSA Mark
- Prepares and / or signs Certification Reports and Certificates of Compliance
- Provides client with assistance in solving problems / failures without divulging proprietary information
- Works with sales to support current clients and develop new client opportunities to support growth
