Lead QA Engineer

Backcountry is seeking a Lead QA Engineer to elevate their testing strategy and ensure every release meets the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Testing
• At least 2+ years in a lead or managerial capacity
• Proven success designing and implementing test automation frameworks in modern CI/CD environments
• Expertise in both manual and automated testing across multiple platforms (web, API, mobile)
• Strong proficiency in modern automation tools (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Postman, JMeter, etc.)
• Solid grasp of software development lifecycles, agile methodologies, and defect management tools (Jira, TestRail, etc.)
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Passion for outdoor adventure and alignment with Backcountry’s brand ethos
