Job Description
Join our Capital Markets Europe team to support accounting and financial reporting for Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) and capital markets transactions. As a Trainee Accountant, you will work with qualified accountants and senior managers to prepare accounts, support audits, and develop technical accounting skills under IFRS and local GAAP.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline (2:1 preferred)
- Commitment to pursue ACCA qualification within the next three years
- Basic accounting knowledge including debits/credits and double-entry bookkeeping
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines
- High attention to detail, conscientious approach and good problem-solving ability
- Collaborative team player with a professional, client-focused demeanour
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Interest in capital markets, securitisations or SPV accounting
