Electrical Systems Engineer to provide expert engineering oversight and technical advice across capital works, maintenance, operational activities and formal change management at the Australian Centre for Disease Preparedness (ACDP) high-containment facility in Geelong. The role involves delivering practical, cost-effective solutions that support the safe operation and ongoing integrity of the facility.
Requirements
- Degree in an appropriate engineering discipline (electrical or electronic) from a recognised tertiary educational institution, together with eligibility for professional membership of the Institute of Engineers, Australia.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including demonstrated experience in report and documentation writing.
- Significant experience in design, development installation, commissioning and/or servicing of electrical systems, process instrumentation and controls gained in a heavy industrial, process industry, building services, or manufacturing plant environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to HS&E, safe working practices, including access permit procedures.
- Proven competence in the application of Risk Management techniques.
- A sound understanding of plant diagnostics and maintenance methods.
- Experience in project management.
