Medical Affairs Manager

The Medical Affairs Manager will oversee medical activities related to the promotion of the organization's products, develop and implement local strategies for scientific interactions with the medical community, and collaborate with commercial, marketing, and sales organizations. The role requires a strong scientific background, experience in the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry, and the ability to manage large projects with limited oversight.

Requirements

• Degree in Clinical Medicine (MD), pharmacy (PharmD), or advanced degree in science (PhD) preferred
• Minimum 5 years' relevant pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry experience
• General clinical trial experience
• Knowledge of therapeutic specialty area
• Recognized subject matter expert in job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience
• Manages large projects or processes with limited oversight from manager
• Coaches, trains, reviews, and delegates work to lower level professional
• Competent in English communication
• Demonstrated ability in cross-functional collaboration
