The Construction Manager (CM) provides leadership, direction, and oversight during all phases of construction around a fully operational jobsite, primarily in the food and beverage market segment. The CM is involved in the construction phase of the process and coordinates construction efforts, predicts and resolves conflicts before they affect the project, and delivers timely, cost-effective solutions.
Requirements
- Preconstruction: Develops and manages, and occasionally works with the Project Director for Phasing Plan, Schedule, and Bid Process (Pre-Bid, BRFI, Post Bids)
- Construction: Submits daily logs using Procore to track labor hours, communication, equipment, materials, and job site events, Coordinates construction activities, including subcontractor working hours, materials, equipment, and meetings (progress, plant, union), and establishes all paper flow and document control with client, contractors, regulatory agencies, and others involved
- Post Construction: Develops and manages start up plan with Project Manager and Plant, Organizes final inspections, develops a punch list, completes punch list items, and follows up on warranty items
