This is an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to provide leadership, direction, and oversight during all phases of construction within a large arena jobsite. You will assist with organizing and overseeing the construction process and ensuring projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements
- Develops scopes of Work for trade packages, with an emphasis on complex arena systems
- Identifies Phasing Plan/Schedule, construction sequencing, and milestones
- Acts as the Gatekeeper of Bidders Request for Information (BRFI’s)
- Prepares & monitors Submittal Log
- Coordinates construction activities, including workers, materials, and equipment
- Ensures that all construction specifications, standards, and quality expectations are met or exceeded
- Leads Owner-Architect-CM (O/A/C) progress meetings
- Monitors Budget and Schedule and provides updates throughout the project
- Provides Quality Assurance for construction means and methods and project safety
- Manages and executes the Change Order process
- Utilizes OSHA construction and general industry regulations, ensuring that projects are installed in a safe manner
- Assists in processing cost issues
- Manages the delivery of a quality product
- Promotes a disciplined approach to both project and internal process, to ensure efficient and cost-conscious behavior is exhibited by the overall team
- Attends owner and design meetings to assist in the pre-planning of conceptual projects
- Oversees the development of: Construction schedules, Work scopes, General Conditions budgets, Bid Strategies, Bidders' lists, project manuals and other project documentation
- Reviews and approves construction budgets
- Conducts Pre-bid meetings and post-bid interviews
- Provides value engineering analysis
- Assists in Closeout Documentation- As-built Drawings
- Follows Up on Warranty Items
- Meets established deadlines and/or goals
- Advises key stakeholders of unavoidable delays
- Takes initiative and does whatever it takes to achieve goals
- Performs other related duties as assigned
