(Senior) Tax Specialist (M/W/D)

We are looking for a Senior Tax Specialist to lead the further development of the tax department at Techem, a leading service partner for smart and sustainable buildings. As a member of a small team, you will be responsible for designing tax policies, creating and reviewing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and deadlines. You will also support tax audits and communicate with financial authorities to represent the company's interests. Additionally, you will evaluate tax-related business cases and projects, create financial statements, and optimize internal tax processes.

Requirements

• Completed degree in economics with a focus on taxation or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in tax, preferably in an international environment
• Expertise in German tax law and in preparing tax returns
• Working experience with SAP FI and MS Office
• Analytical thinking and a structured, self-responsible working style
• Good communication and team skills
• Good English skills in word and writing
