Job Description
We are seeking a Propane Service Tech Apprentice to participate in a structured training program to learn the foundational skills of both the Propane Service Technician and/or Delivery Driver roles. The apprentice will assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of propane tanks, gas lines, regulators, and appliances, and shadow licensed service technicians and CDL drivers to learn safety protocols, troubleshooting, and system testing.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Entry-level position, some mechanical knowledge preferred
- Ability to obtain Commercial Driver’s License required Class B with Hazmat and tanker endorsements within 6 months of employment
- DOT Physical required within 60 days
- General mechanical aptitude (hand tools)
- Basic computer skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Able to effectively communicate in a team environment and with customers
