We are looking for a Transport Coordinator to join our friendly team on a full-time permanent basis. As a Transport Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning driver and vehicle resources to achieve delivery/collection times, whilst optimising resources and adhering to WTD and drivers' hours legislation.
Requirements
- Attention to detail/accuracy
- Planning and organising skills, high level of numeracy
- Excellent communication skills in order to deliver accurate information
- Good IT skills including Microsoft office packages
- Effectively prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines
- Able to work as part of a team or individually
- Have knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers' hours
- Significant transport experience in FMCG environment
- Customer service driven
