Tecnico de controles III

We are looking for a talented Controls Technician III to join our specialized MANUFACTURING team at our CUMMINS company in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua. The Controls Technician III executes specialized technical activities that support manufacturing operations through programming, maintenance, and improvement of industrial control systems.

Requirements

• Create, modify, and maintain PLC programs and industrial robot sequences.
• Perform diagnosis, analysis of failures, and problem-solving in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems.
• Support the analysis of equipment activity times and stoppages, contributing to the improvement of MTTR and MTBF indicators.
• Provide feedback and execution of preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Adhere to and promote safety standards, including LOTO policies, EPP use, and immediate reporting of incidents or risks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Work with production, maintenance, and support teams to eliminate manufacturing restrictions and improve processes.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and TPM teams.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and documented procedures.
• Train and instruct other team members and serve as an informal technical resource.
