Job Description
The Registered Nurse position requires a candidate to coordinate nursing care for patients of all ages, implement the nursing process, and provide direct patient care. The role involves patient assessments, development of care plans, evaluating outcomes, and directing nurses and ancillary staff. The position requires ACLS, BLS, and PALS certification and requires a minimum of one year nursing experience.
Requirements
- Maintain nursing standards of care using the nursing process.
- Provide direct patient care for patients of all ages (pediatrics, adult and geriatrics).
- Assess patient conditions considering age-specific developmental needs.
- Develop and prescribe nursing interventions.
- Participate in discharge planning and education.
- Report observations and reactions.
- Demonstrate social sensitivity and effective communication.
- Supervise nursing staff.
- Maintain appropriate infection control standards.
- Operate medical equipment safely.
- Comply with Safety Management program.
- Adhere to standard precautions and ACLS/BLS protocols.
