We are seeking a reliable and technically skilled PC Support Technician to join a 24/7 onsite support team in New York, NY. This role focuses on desktop support, hardware deployment, system administration, and troubleshooting across Windows and Apple environments.
Requirements
- Provide 24/7 onsite desktop and technical support in a critical operations environment
- Install, configure, update, and maintain computer hardware and software
- Troubleshoot Windows and Apple operating systems
- Deploy and support desktops, laptops, handheld devices, printers, and peripherals
- Perform Active Directory account management and system administration tasks
- Support Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook/Exchange, and enterprise email systems
- Utilize ServiceNow (or similar ticketing systems) to track and resolve incidents
- Troubleshoot networking issues including TCP/IP connectivity and Ethernet cabling
- Support Cisco networking devices and related infrastructure
- Assist with Oracle client-based applications
- Coordinate technical projects and system upgrades across departments
- Conduct hardware/software evaluations and technical reviews
- Lift and move IT equipment as required
- Maintain strong communication with end users and internal IT teams
