Job Description
Machinist – Large CNC Vertical Lathes 1st Shift at Curtiss Wright. Operate large vertical turret lathes to perform precision machining, maintain machines, and monitor the machining process.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Completion of a four-year machinist apprenticeship or equivalent
- Minimum of 3+ years in CNC machines experience operating vertical lathes
- Ability to maintain acceptable quality and efficiency level and effectively communicate with others
- Lifting objects weighing 50 pounds to waist height and transporting 10 feet
- Due to DoD requirements, candidates must be US citizens
- Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Security clearances and approvals
