Job Description
We are looking for a Supplier Project Manager to join our Pittsburgh (Cheswick) location. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the Curtiss-Wright EMD Purchasing organization as a Supplier Project Manager to act as the primary point of contact to lead and manage projects executed by mission critical suppliers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management and/or equivalent experience in a supplier management Lead role
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering Management, Management or Project Management a plus
- A minimum of five (5) years of project management experience
- Prior experience working on-site with suppliers highly desired
- Project scheduling, prioritization and organization skills
- Experience in commercial nuclear, defense, aerospace, energy, or similarly regulated industries
- Working knowledge of quality systems within the commercial nuclear (i.e., 10CFR50 Appendix B, ASME NQA-1) or defense industry (i.e., ISO-9001, MIL-I-45208) is a plus
- Excellent relationship building, communication (written and oral) and presentation skills
- Green or Black Belt Lean Certification a plus
- Due to DoD requirements, candidates must be US citizens
- Must be able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance
