Lead Operating Engineer

Role Overview

Responsible for ensuring the proper and efficient operations and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for assigned facilities. Supervises maintenance staff and performs daily operations and maintenance tasks.

What You Will Do

Assist with daily operations and maintenance, supervise maintenance staff, perform preventive maintenance duties, and recommend improvements to the preventive maintenance program.

Requires 5+ years of related trade experience, technical proficiency, and decision-making skills. Must have a valid driver's license, basic computing skills, and experience with HVAC, boilers, and energy management systems.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• 5+ years of related trade experience
• Valid driver's license
• Basic Computing Skills in Outlook, Excel & Word
• Experience in operation, maintenance and basic repair of HVAC, boilers, heaters, pumps, refrigerant systems, compressors, water systems, etc.
• Knowledgeable in energy management systems, techniques and operations
• Thorough knowledge in all building systems operations, maintenance and repair
