Quality Control Manager/Specialist (POL)

CMS, an award-winning construction contractor, is seeking a Quality Control Manager/Specialist (POL) to manage and oversee the Quality Control program for DoD POL projects. The role involves coordinating quality control activities, implementing improvements in productivity, and identifying project-related issues. Candidates should possess experience in installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of tanks and related facilities, as well as knowledge of design drawing interpretation and audit processes.

Requirements

• Five (5) years of DoD POL construction-related management experience (commercial or military experience is not applicable)
• Three (3) consecutive years of on-site experience as a POL Quality Control Specialist
• Associate’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering, or a High School Diploma/GED with equivalent field experience
• Certificate of completion from a USACE or NAVFAC QC Management course (current, not older than 4 years)
• Ability to meet eligibility requirements for access to U.S. Government facilities (security clearance not required)
• OSHA 30-Hour Training Certificate (not older than 5 years)
• Confined Space Competent Person Certificate
• Current CPR & AED Certificate
• Knowledge of POL-related and general construction disciplines
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
• Strong collaboration skills
