Job Description
CMS Mechanical is hiring a Skilled Laborer to perform both commercial and industrial HVAC and related work, including electrical generation and co-generation systems. The role requires building, installing, and repairing HVAC systems, as well as other mechanical and electrical systems. Strong communication skills and teamwork are essential.
Requirements
- Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate hazards
- Cut steel using flame torch
- Lubricate, clean, and repair machinery, equipment, and tools
- Measure pipe and cut to size
- Apply caulking, cleaning solutions, or other compounds by hand or with tools
- Grind, scrape, sand, or polish surfaces using abrasive tools or machines
- Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, and level earth to grade specifications using manual tools
