DESIGN ENGINEER

Design mechanical structures and systems for truck mounted equipment that meet the applicable standards. Key responsibilities include ownership of design and analysis of mechanical structures and components, developing new products using 3D solid modeling software, and creating detail drawings of 3D models.

Requirements

• 2+ years’ experience in an engineering capacity
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology
• Proficient in engineering design software – 3D and 2D (SolidWorks and AutoCAD preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Understanding of structural design – Welded steel structures
• Understanding and use of MRP/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, Infor, xetc)
